La CICAD rencontre les élèves de l’Institut Florimont pour la préparation à la journée d’étude au camp d’extermination d’Auschwitz-Birkenau

Ce jeudi 2 novembre, la CICAD a rencontré les élèves participants de l’Institut Florimont à la 18e journée d’étude au Camp d’extermination d’Auschwitz-Birkenau qui aura lieu le 29 novembre prochain. Partenaire depuis plusieurs années de ce programme visant à perpétuer et entretenir la Mémoire de la Shoah, l’Institut Florimont organise conjointement avec la CICAD une rencontre entre ses élèves et Paulette Angel Rosenberg.

Sami Sandhaus, rescapé du camp de concentration de Bershad en Ukraine, rencontre avec la CICAD les élèves du Collège Champittet de Pully

Ils étaient plus de 120 élèves et professeurs ce mercredi 12 novembre à écouter le témoignage d’un rescapé de la Shoah, Monsieur Sami Sandhaus. Pendant plus d’une heure il  a ainsi expliqué son histoire depuis son arrestation  à Czernowitz par les nazis alors seulement âgé de 14 ans jusqu’à sa déportation au camp de Bershad dont il sévadera  à 16 ans en 1943.
